Phu Quoc Island In the early 17th century, Phu Quoc was a desolate area, where Vietnamese and Chinese immigrants earned their living from sea cucumbers. From 1782 to 1786, Phu Quoc became a stronghold of Lord Nguyen Anh, later Emperor Gia Long, in his confrontation with Tay Son forces.
In 1869, the French occupied the island and set up rubber and coconut plantations in the island. From 1967 to 1972, a P.O.W detention camp ws built to home 40,000 inmates during the war covering on 400 hectares was built at An Thoi by the Saigon regime.
After being liberated on 30 April 1975, Phu Quoc has been developed into an ideal tourist destination for nature and sea lovers.

đồng bằng sông Cửu Long “Nine Dragon river delta”) is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River flows and empties into the sea through a network of estuaries.
The Mekong splits in Cambodia into two main rivers, the Bassac (Hậu Giang) and the First river (Tiền Giang), then in Vietnam into a more complex system, creating a maze of small canals, rivers and arroyos interspersed with villages and floating markets.
Life in the Mekong Delta revolves much around the river, and all the villages are often accessible by river rather than by road.

Dalat City - Central Highland
Da Lat city is probably one of Vietnam's most well known vacation destination. Since the turn of the century, Da Lat has been the vacation spot for well-to-do Vietnamese and foreigners. It is the unofficial honeymoon mecca of Vietnam. Located on Lám Viên (Langbian) high lands, part of the greater Central high lands of Vietnam (Cao Nguyen Trung Phan), the city is 1500 m above sea level and is 305 km from Saigon. The name Da Lat originates from the hill tribe people in this region. It literally means Stream of the Lat people.

Yan
gon, which has been the capital of Myanmar since 1885, lies in lower Myanmar on the banks of the Ayeyarwady river.
